Just having finished our 2nd stay at Bittern Lake Lodge I can say it truly feels like a home away from home! Sheldon and Rebecca are Warm and friendly hosts.
Every detail has been thought about; From the start when we pull up and Sheldon helps us to carry in our belongings into the well organized scrapbooking room. Then you have the comfy sleeping quarters and Rebecca’s yummy food (lasagna, homemade soup, fresh buns, Turkey dinner, cinnamon buns fresh from the oven, French toast bacon and more!) keep in mind you never wash a dish! Meals and snacks are well prepared and with no scrimping, although one of the girls complained she needed to be rolled out to her car she ate so much!
And at the end of your stay Sheldon will carry your stuff back out to your car there is no drop-off in assistance just because you are leaving!
A trip to Bittern Lake Lodge is the perfect weekend away with the girls to reconnect, pamper yourself, rest and get some uninterrupted scrapping done.
